DESIGN FOR TOMORROW

Most buildings in Xi-Men-Ding Taipei had become obsolete in time. By creating an environment to fulfill a single individual’s living in contrast to the surrounded environment, excess elements were stripped away. The rooms are as if it is separated yet, loses the ease and comfort in the arranged space; directed one's movement in the visible space. Particularly stimulating the elegance of the elevated surface from ceiling to the leisured bed setting, a living function was presented openly, yet secures the passage of the wardrobe from behind. Thus, it creates an intimate compulsion but also pervades exposure in openness.
